Northwoods USBC holds
Annual Bowling Ball Raffle
On Sunday, Dec. 7, the Northwoods USBC Association held its annual bowling ball raffle, hosted this year at The Alley Lanes & Tavern in Land O’ Lakes.

Tickets were sold at centers throughout the Northwoods — Nick’s Hodag Lanes in Rhinelander, Rusty’s Wabeno Bowl in Wabeno, The Alley Lanes & Tavern in Land O’ Lakes, and Eagle Lanes in Eagle River.
The first winner of the afternoon came when the Roto Grip Gremlin found its new home with Bodil Gajewski, who happens to bowl at the host center, The Alley Lanes & Tavern.
The second ball to be raffled off was the Rock Star Amped, which went to Eagle Lanes bowler David Sadenwasser.
Wabeno had reason to celebrate too. Representing Rusty’s Wabeno Bowl, Tom Mermuys walked away with the Storm Equinox Solid.
Rounding out the adult winners was Venette Tess of Nick’s Hodag Lanes, who took home the Columbia 300 Ricochet Return.

The raffle also featured a special youth prize: a Motive Ascend, generously donated by Rick’s Pro Shop of Rhinelander. Levi Conley from Eagle Lanes won the ball.
Congratulations to all of the bowlers that won at this year’s drawing! Thank you to all four centers for donating the bowling balls!
